Abstract

Competition to achieve maximum R&D efficiency has become global in proportion and efficient R&D support is an important management problem related to future success and existence of corporations. This paper clarifies a variety of problems relating to new drug discovery and examines the utility of computer system application in the field of R&D support, In conclusion, the author proposes a R&D support system for new drug discovery besed on the integration of IT and methodologies that are recently attracting much attention.
