As information resources in the enterprise environment are increasing explosively, Enterprise Search is gaining the spotlight. But in the enterprise environment, making scattered information searchable by Enterprise Search is not enough for information sharing. Following two factors are required: -Library by folder structure -File viewer This report explains some ideas for further utilization of Enterprise Search, and enabling technologies for that, based on the difference between the Internet environment and the enterprise environment, and technology trends. This report also includes the success story of Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding which implemented Enterprise Search.
