抄録
This paper aims to study the actual condition of the four typical residential areas by the estimation of residential environment by the residents in Xian of China. We gathered information by questionnaires at the four areas and examined on the nineteen indexes; four indexes on habitability, five indexes on amenity of housing estate, seven indexes of community facilities and three indexes of public facilities. The results are as follows. (1) The residents estimate habitability and amenity of housing estate lower than community facilities and public facilities, and estimate them more negatively. (2) the estimation of habitability is different from the estimation of community facilities and public facilities by area and variety of residence.
