Abstract

The purpose of this research is the realities grasp,a feature analysis of [stay space]. In the commercial avenue of Tokyo: Asakusa,Ginza,Harajuku,Ueno,Ikebukuro,Shinjuku and Shibuya,I analyzed the characteristic of place and the situation of the space from the viewpoint of scene resources. There are the studies that analyzed a physical device to sit down into till now. However, about the situation of such a thing, there is not the study that focused on the place consisting by mutual relations between the visitors. In this research, it was clarified that there were various variations of stay space types in the town and that the accumulation of the stay space enriched visitors' experience in looking. I made clear that it could pull the charm of the city as an important element of scene resources.
