Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the difference of preference pattern about ideal image of local lifestyle between people who are "interested in" migration to local regions from Mega-City, and people who are "able to" migrate. We especially focused on the quality of lifestyle and workstyle in local regions. First, we conducted a questionnaire survey to define people who think they can migrate to local regions. Second, we analyzed the preference pattern to ideal image of local lifestyle and workstyle by using factor analysis. Finally, we constructed the logistic regression model to explain the relation between the preference pattern to image and those think they can migrate. As a result, the people who like the images of their worthwhile job in local regions tend to think they can migrate and continue their livelihood.
