Abstract

This study focus attention to the change of the evacuation space and clarified the situation and tendency. In addition, we analyzed the factor that set the place and facilities from detailed example analysis, and considered a plan problem of the refuge space. The research carried out the interview investigation and the site reconnaissance for schools in Iwate coast. Main results are as follows. 1) We confirmed a tendency to choice of the rebuilding place from the school location, the number of students, damage degree. Also most of schools rebuilding in the stricken area changed the evacuation space. 2) Process of the change of the evacuation space is various by each school. We investigated the change factor and grasped the process that the refuge plan of the multiplex model was made. 3) In addition, we examined the plan element of refuge space, and considered the spatial structure to prompt smooth refuge.
