Abstract

<p>By searching Web of Science Core Collection, 1,543 papers authored by Dr. Eugene Garfield were retrieved. Within these papers, a bibliometric analysis was done for 97 original articles (classified as “article”) and the following points were discussed: (1) the ratio between single- and co-authored articles and main co-authors, (2) frequently cited references and journals in which they were published, and (3) authors and journals that frequently cited Garfield's articles.</p>
