Abstract

The number of Business Method Patent's Kokai, which draw attention from the press around 1998, has been rapidly increasing since summer in 2001, this increase of search object means increase of workload to maintain the high level of search quality. And again, in the wake of Business Method Patents, divisions and companies which are not used to be familiar with patents are getting interested in them by bits. From now, to choose search tools from many systems depending on the search object and skill would be important. In this article, the focus is on Business Method Patent Database of G-Search and how to use, criteria for data selection and its contents will be introduced in detail.
