Description

The water has three phases of vapor, water and ice in the earth-surface. Therefore, there is a continuous exchage of water between land and ocean through atmosphere. The fractionation of water between land and ocean is influenced by the climate, and then recorded as the sea level change. The global-mean sea level change during deglaciation period, the hydro-isostasy and the recent sea level rise are discussed in this paper.
