Description

The properties of a new polymeric material with immobilized boronic acid for HPLAC columns are discussed. In order to achieve a high boronic acid content, a support polymer was chemically bonded to polyamines, then phenylboronic acid groups were reacted onto the multiple reaction sites. The resulting support material showed a binding capacity of more than 1meq/mL. A 4, 6×54mm analytical column was used to separate bioamines, nucleosides, and glycated hemoglobin effectively.
