In connection with the evaluation of vocal efficiency, discussion has developed whether a decibel value of SPL can be divided by the flow rate, or whether such calculation is meaningful or not for the evaluation of vocal efficiency.<br>The proposal for such calculation was refuted on the basis of the definition of decibel.
