Description
Five radiometric ages of volcanic rocks of the Enrei Formation, which is Plio-Pleistocene typical volcanic succession of the central part of the Fossa Magna region, has obtained by K-Ar method Radiometric ages, ranging from 1.12 to 1.47 Ma, are corresponding to those of the upper part of the Utsukushigahara Volcanic Formation and a part of the Kirigamine Volcanic Formation. Some radiometric ages which have previously reported are incompatible with stratigraphic data, so we have to examine this problem geologically and radiometically.
