Description

Color difference judgement of woven fabrics between experts and non-experts is studied by using method of approximate ellipse in CIE L*a*b* uniform color space.<BR>The level of experts is higher about twice or three times than that of nonexperts.<BR>The level of non-expert-women, the first half of twenty years, is close to experts' one than that of nonexpertmen, the first half of thirty years.<BR>The dispersion of color difference judgement among experts is certain small and their judgement is very stable. The judgement of non-expert-men is more fuzzy in dark blue color and its dispersion is twice.
