抄録

To evaluate the availability of cement clinkers for the sulfur re-moval sorbent in fluidized bed coal fired utility boilers, a reactivity test for various kinds of clinkers with SO2 was made by use of the thermal gravimetric analysis at sulfation temperature of 10201270K, which was concluded in the following items.<BR>1) The reactivity of high early strength cement clinkers was better than other types of portland cement clinkers.<BR>2) The reactivity of the clinkers at around 1270K was limited by the blockage of inter-grain macropores with produced CaSO4.<BR>3) It can be expected that operating temperature range of FBC is extended by using the mixed sorbent of limestone with cement clinker, and also a stable fluidized bed is established by clinker.
