Abstract
A viscoelastic flow of polymer solution through aT-shaped channel becomes complicated with increasing velocity. In the present paper, we observed the flow pattern and its fluctuation, and studied its characteristics the and an influence of viscoelasticity on it.<BR> This flow fluctuated three-dimensionally and periodically at more than some values of velocity. The fluctuation was observed to be syncronous with the change of circulating secondary flows observed upstream of a reentrant corner, and strongly depended on the viscoelasticity.
