Abstract

Case 1 : A-52-year-old man treated apple trees with lime sulfur. Afterward, he had burning pain on his face with worsening. Next day he presented to our hospital. A physical examination showed whitish-gray crust adherent to skin ulcers surrounded by erythema on his cheek and neck. The crust was removed with surgical debridement, followed by topical ointment of white petrolatum. His ulcer healed in 3 weeks. Case 2. A 79-year-old man treated apple trees with lime sulfur. He covered his face with cloth, but lime sulfur penetrated the cloth onto his forehead. Next day, he had burning pain with edema on his forehead, and his pain got worse. He presented to our hospital. A physical examination revealed yellowish-gray crust adherent to skin ulcers on his forehead. The crust was removed with surgical debridement, followed by topical ointment of alprostadil alfadex. His ulcer healed in 1 week.
