Abstract
The first prototype was made in accordance with the design policy of this system described in the second report. This prototype was tested while performing automatic carrying more than 3, 000 times, and experienced a broken front axel, burned electric motor and a malfunction of the branch-point diverters. These problems were resolved in the second prototype and the pair milk tap coupler was changed to the one-motion type. Check functions were added for milk tap coupling and the automatic removal of the milking unit. Also, milking simulation tests were conducted at practical work routine intervals in this system. The vacuum drop in the 2-inch milking line didn't exceed 2kPa under conditions recommended in ISO5707.
