Abstract
We have developed a wireless communication holder system to monitor various physical quantities during processing in multiple channels. This holder system was shown to be effective for estimating the processing temperature in end-milling and the vibration in radial and axial directions in boring of rotating machining tools. We have implemented a function for monitoring tool rotational direction in this holder system, to explore the processing phenomenon in end-milling and tapping. This report presents the effectiveness of this holder system.
