The aim of this study was to consider the issue of gender studies from the viewpoint of disability studies. Examining the theory and practice on elimination of the discrimination against disabled person, it was clarified that reasonable accommodation was the key concept. Related to reasonable accommodation, three points were indicated: (1) the necessity of affirmative action for substantial equality, (2) the importance of conversation and making narratives in order to clarify the special needs, (3) the importance of establishing self-consciousness as the person concerned. These points were discussed in relation to gender problems.
