Description
Correlated changes were observed in evolution of vertebrate appendages (teeth, feather, hairs, and limbs). Recent biological researches have shown common developmental systems shared by these appendages. From the developmental properties, it was proposed that the correlated changes were partially attributed to mutations within the common systems.
