The present paper deals with biosystematic problem on a natural hybrid between Potentilla discolor and P. kleiniana subsp. anemonefolia. 1) A hairy race resembling P. kleiniana is here named as P. diskleii. 2) Morphological characteristics are investigated for P. diskleii, comparing with P. discolor and P. kleiniana. 3) Those three are cytologically investigated and the pollen fertility is observed for them. 4) Crossing experiments are carried out between P. discolor and P. kleiniana, and the F_1-hybrids are compared with P. diskleii. 5) P. diskleii is here concluded as a natural hybrid between P. discolor and P. kleiniana subsp. anemonefolia, and reported here as a new hybrid.
