Description
NHK has developed the NTSC-Compatible MUSE-6 system for an ATV system in the United States. In this system, vertical high frequency components are multiplexed in the top-and-bottom portions of a letter-box picture. This paper describes the vertical filtering method of an NTSC-Compatible MUSE-6 signal.
