Description
In this paper, we will describe a basic study concerning the presentation of the sensation of motion using a motion-base. Firstly, the implementation of a virtual environment integrating themotion-base system and imersive visual system is stated. Next, the characteristics of the recognition of the acceleration by the human are investigated. In this study, we compared the results from two experiments: by using a car in the real world and by using the motion-base. Finally, the problems the integrating the sensations of motion and vision are studied. In this study, an investigation on the influence of the relative delay-time in presenting these two sensations is included.
