Abstract

This article analyses the unique activities concerning management, archiving of and access to government information by Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records (ASLAPR) where the author visited in March 2010. The uniqueness of ASLAPR includes: (1) "Arizona Model" for management of state government websites, in which ASLAPR organizes the web contents by their provenances rather than their subject matters; (2) "PeDALS" project which aims to manage and preserve state government records in electronic formats as duplicated copies, not as the unique one.
