Abstract
Muscovite and biotite from the greisenized granite of the Itaga wolframite deposits were dated at 63.4±1.4 Ma and 63.0±1.4 Ma, respectively. The age belongs to the younger group of granite activities of the Ashio Mountains. Lollingite disseminated in the altered granite shows δ34SCDT of ca. -5 permil, which is very similar to the average value of the ilmeniteseries ore deposits of the Chubu-Kinki district.
