Abstract
Philosophy of science which underlies in Behavior Analysis is pragmatism. Pierce, C.S. who was a founder of pragmatism said that "Consider what effects, that might conceivably have practical bearings, we conceive the object of our conception to have. Then, our conception of these effects is the whole of our conception of the object." They say this is the maxim or the rule of pragmatism. So this maxim of pragmatism implies the same meaning of contingencies of reinforcement in Behavior Analysis. In Behavior Analysis consequences of reinforcememt shape behavior and then change consciousness and belief. Magician's selection system has been adopted in order to understand the pragmatic feature of Behavior Analysis. Magician's selection system contains a serial verbal reinforcement sequences. One who experienced magician's selection thinks that he selected by his free will, but in fact he was completely controlled by magician. In this paper it is concidered that sequence of reinforcement effects the selection behavior and belief of free will.
