Description

This paper gives an outline of the new idea of the hull erection method on the shipbuilding berth. In this method, at first, ship's bottom sections are set up in the full length of a ship and then hull erection works are progressed more rapidly upwards in the whole length of the ship. By this method, we expect the reduction of man-hours and shortening the time for hull erection work on the shipbuilding berth.
