Abstract

Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tokushima has carried out a new approach towards team working education in 3D CAD exercise class. This paper addresses the overview of design/drawing education in the department, and clarifies the role of CAD exercise class, of which curriculum has been redesigned at the end of 2002 and started in 2003. Presenting what we have done in the class and what we have obtained from the class, this paper discusses our approach in teamwork education. Starting from the toy-models which we have used in the 2003 class, we would like to employ actual industrial products in the next step under the collaboration with industrial partners.
