The properties of complex heat transfer by both natural convection and radiation are experimentally observed in the fusion of vertical cylindrical ice.<BR>Heat transfer of fusion Nu_c_melt of natural convection on the vertical cylindrical ice is obtained by the following semi-theoretical equation, by taking away radiation heat transfer Nu_r from the experimental value of complex heat transfer of fusion Nu_melt.In this case, the range of application is Gr_l from 10⁷ to 10⁹.<BR>Nu_c_melt=0.8Gr_l^1/4
