Description
<p>This paper reviews our proposed simulation method for permanent magnet particles with consideration of magnetic hysteresis and magnetic anisotropy. The numerical simulation was performed to visualize the orientation behavior of permanent magnet particles in a pulsed-magnetic field. The simulation result revealed that when the pulsed-magnetic field was applied, the particles were oriented in the direction of the magnetic field. After the pulsed-magnetic field was removed, degree of orientation was decreased due to residual magnetization. In this manner, the proposed simulation model will be useful tool to analyze the magnetic-aligned compaction process.</p>
