Description

The virtual experiment environment based on a computer simulation technology and a scientific computer visualization technology makes it possible to carry out experiment and evaluation in the computer. Moreover, it realizes an interactive environment by adding the interface technology that automatically changes numerical parameters for the solver in operating a visualized object directly. The interactive virtual experiment environment developed in this paper uses a 3-D software building system, Intelligent Box, the data visualization tool, AVS/Express, and the numerical electromagnetics code, NEC2, and it is useful for the designs and the development of antennas. The configuration and the feature of the system are explained as well as data translation filters newly developed in the study. Furthermore analysis examples are shown.
