Abstract

A high sensitivity photo sensor was developed for a luciferin-luciferase bioluminescent reaction-based bacterial detection. The photo sensor requires a high sensitivity photo detector because a detecting target has very low luminescent which is about 10^<-5>lux. Therefore, the photo sensor was realized high sensitivity by a long exposure time, a large photo detective area and temporal noise reducing techniques, and fabricated in the 0.18μm CMOS image sensor process. The photo sensor was confiremed a possibility of low bioluminescent detection.
