Abstract

Holography is a technique that enables us to reconstruct 3D images in the space. Several reconstructing techniques using photorefractive crystals or systems with lenses have been studied. However, they have some drawbacks such that the size of the reconstructed images tends to be small, and the area of a view is to be limited by the lenses. Here we present a new reconstructing method with the use of a cattering of particles. The scattered particles play a role just as a screen. It enables us to observe relatively large 3D images easily.
