Description
It is necessary for the relay of the digital terrestrial broadcasting wave that the signal performance isn't made to deteriorate. This paper first describes relay methods for digital terrestrial broadcasting that employ an equalizer, or a decision circuit in relay equipment. It then proposes a technique that applies the diversity combining technique to these relay methods, and shows that the technique improves signal performance whatever the relay method.
