A fundamental simulation method on the basis of a general algorithm was devised for many kinds of simulation experiments of the raw silk reeling process. Its characteristics are that cocoon filament curves are generated by a Monte Carlo method using random coefficient polynomial and that function of the continuous size detector is provided.
