Abstract
In this study, we estimated the depth map from low SNR images captured by the multi-aperture camera system that placed CMOS image sensors in a two dimensional array to synthesize the images with disparity compensation. In general stereo matching, correspondence mismatch occurs in a textureless area. Therefore, we employed a global estimation using a probabilistic graphical model. By solving a maximum posterior problem using belief propagation, we confirmed that it is possible to estimate a depth map even from images under low illumination.
