抄録

Length of homogeneous raw silk thread (LHRS) is one of important factors for quality control of raw silk, because it has influence on the score of evenness. This paper considers the relation between the variation of LHRS and both the properties of cocoons and the characteristics of the size control mechanism. We propose an equation of probability distribution of LHRS and a table of effective feeding end efficiency to be used for control of the mean LHRS.
