Abstract
We successfully improved dynamic range characteristics in ultrahigh-speed CCD. The equivalent circuit model of the ultrahigh-speed CCD was analyzed by using SPICE simulator to estimate blunt of the input square wave pulse at final step of the equivalent circuit. New ultrahigh-speed CCD was fabricated which can reduce blunt of input square wave pulse. Result of driving evaluation experiment shows dynamic range of 48.6dB at one million frames per second, which is 2.5 times higher than that of previous ultrahigh-speed CCD.
