説明

The adsorption mechanism of direct dyes (C. I. Direct Yellow 12 and C. I. Direct Red 2) on silk was examined. The adsorption isotherms, at 90°C in the presence of 0.05M NaCl, were found to be represented by both the Langmuir's and Freundlich's adsorption equations. The affinities of direct dyes for silk calculated by the equation based on the Langmuir's mechanism were not reasonable, but those based on the diffusely-adsorption mechanism were considered to be reasonable. The adsorption of direct dyes on deaminated silk was also examined. The evidences suggested strongly that direct dyes were adsorbed diffusely on silk.
