抄録

In order to improve the quality and the yield of cocoon of the silkworm fed on an artificial feed, we formulated an improved composition of the mineral and vitamin B mixture in the artificial feed for the 5th-instar larvae.<br>Improvement in the mineral and vitamin B mixture resulted in remarkable increase in percentage of reelable cocoon, average weight of reelable cocoon layer and its yield.<br>In this experiment the application of a factorial experiment gave satisfactory results. A brief discussion was made on the usefulness of the application of a factorial experiment and an electronic computer in the study on the artificial feed.
