抄録

1. The author concludes that the cell-free extract from ground dried cells of Bact. succinicurn SAKAGUCRI et TADA has the activity of glycerol-oxidation.<br> 2. The extract contains some enzymes and, especially, is able to oxidize acids of the citric acid cycle.<br> 3. ATP accelerates the glycerol-oxidation.<br> 4. α-glycero-phosphoric acid is found in a resultant medium from enzymatic glycerol-oxi-dation by paper partition chromatograpny.
