In this paper the flavoring matters of the dry leaves of Ficus carica L. have been imvestigated. The results can be summarized as follows.<br> (1) Psoralene was identifed by means of the ultraviolet absorption and chemical analysis.<br> (2) On fractional distillation several substances have been isolated. Some of them were characterized as decomposed compounds of psoralene from the results of the ultraviolet absorption.
