Description

This study analyzes and evaluate planning, construction, and management process of existing collective living projects in Japan and other countries. The objective of this study is to propose planning and management model of partnership based collective living for multi-generation. Project examination shows variety of participation process for planning and management of collective living. There can be “Residents motivated type” as well as “Shifting type” of collective housing planning and management model. Ideal collective living of those types may not be provided in existing system of Japanese housing sector. We needs to bring up, develop, and support “Human/ Housing/ , and System”, as well as to expect growth of NPOs to upgrade social system.
