Description
The title reaction was investigated by 183W NMR, Raman and TOF-MASS spectroscopy. Peroxotungstates with peroxo/W = 2 and peroxo/W = 1 were formed. The latter compounds are previously unknown. The removal of hydrogen peroxide from the reaction solution by the decomposition with Pt net promoted the polymerization of these species.
