Description
Conventional hydrophobia parameter logP, decimal logarithm of partition coefficient, has been separated into the corresponding terms of enthalpy and entropy. These novel terms are determined for various alcohols and benzoic acids, and shown to give promising results in the analysis of quantitative structure-activity relationships.
