Abstract
We have proposed "Judgement Line of Brake Initiation" (a discriminant which models a driver's timing to start decelerating) in phase plane of the index(KdB_c) and the gap(D). It was determined by a test driver's brake initiation in moderate danger levels. We conducted experiments wiht several subjects in a proving ground and recognized differences among individuals. In this paper, we propose a mehtod to adapt "Judgment Line of Brake Initiation" to individual drivers in public roads.
