Abstract
It was shown that the trade-off of NOx and CO2 emission from diesel engine fueled with DME is improved by setting an EGR system to Low Pressure Loop by past researches. In this paper, for the further low fuel consumption and emission of DME diesel engine, the influences of change of compression ratio, nozzle diameter and chamber shape on engine performance and emission characteristics were investigated.
