Abstract

Many inexperienced drivers are not good at changing lanes and there are not enough educational opportunities for lane change maneuver. Therefore, the assistance method for improving lane change maneuver of inexperienced drivers has been developed in our laboratory to enhance their driving skill and awareness for safe driving. As a part of this research project, here we present the utility of this developed assistance method by driving simulator which enables us to emulate actual driving circumstance.
