抄録

Fuel properties are an important factor affecting diesel ignition, combustion and emissions. An experimental study was conducted to investigate the potential of test fuels to control combustion and emissions without changing the operating parameters. The fuels including paraffinic or naphthenic diesel fuels with or without cetane improvers were prepared in comparison with a conventional diesel fuel. It has been shown that some combinations of these fuels and additives affect ignition characteristics depending on engine load.
