抄録

An experimental study was conducted to investigate effects of diesel fuels blended with simulated biodiesel fuel (Fuel A) and with BTL (Fuel B) on performance and emissions in a diesel engine for passenger car applications. The results show that both fuels tend to reduce ignition delay, thereby reducing CO and HC emissions without changing NOx. PM emission could be reduced due to oxygen contained in Fuel A. Significant NOx and PM reductions were possible by PCCI combustion using both fuels.
